How to Travel to Thailand in 2024

- COVID-19 Testing: You’d be happy to know that you no longer have to present a COVID test result when entering Thailand.

- TM30 Requirement: If you want to stay in Thailand, you would need a TM30 notification of residence form prepared by your landlord.
- Face mask policy: As most of the population has gotten fully vaccinated, face masks are only mandated in select establishments.

- Entry Documentation: Certificate of Entry (COE) and Thailand Pass are no longer required documents.
New Visa Exemptions
- September 25, 2023 – February 29, 2024: China and Kazakhstan (30 days).
- November 1, 2023 – April 30, 2024: Russia (90 days).
- November 10, 2023 – May 10, 2024: Taiwan and India (30 days).
TM30 Updates
- TM30 Document: This is required of every foreigner. It will need to be curated by your landlord and presented when reporting to immigration.
- Responsibilities: Your landlord is responsible for reporting your stay to immigration and in setting up your TM30. Failure to do so will result in penalties.
- Importance of the TM30: The TM30 is required to report your immigration status for your 90-day reporting, extending your visa, and in accessing insurance benefits.
Update on Thailand’s COVID-19 situation
- The quarantine has been lifted and most venues in Thailand are open to everyone.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and testing is no longer required.
