If you’ve recently got a new passport and need to transfer your Thailand Elite Visa, don’t worry. The process is straightforward and hassle-free.
We’ve prepared a clear guide to assist you every step of the way.
Contact Thai Privilege
To transfer your Thailand Elite Visa, start by getting in touch with Thailand Privilege about moving the visa sticker to your new passport.
It’s important to note that if you hold two passports, you cannot transfer your Thai Elite Visa to another passport; it must remain linked to the same country which you’ve applied for the Thai Elite Visa.
For instance, if your Thai Elite Visa sticker is attached to your United States of America passport, you cannot move it to your United Kingdom passport.
Renewing Your Passport in Bangkok
If you are currently in Thailand and your passport needs renewal, you should visit the Chaeng Watthana immigration office in Bangkok, and make sure to bring both your old and new passports. An officer will help you transfer your Thai Elite Visa to the new passport.
Outside of Thailand? Follow These Steps
If you are not in Thailand, you can still transfer your Thailand Elite Visa by following these steps:
1. Contact Thai Elite
Send an email to Thai Elite, providing them with your arrival information, such as:
- Arrival time and date
- Flight details
You should let them know a week prior to your flight to Thailand. Once you arrive at the airport, the Thai Elite staff will guide you through the process.
2. Visit the Thai Embassy
Another option is to visit the Thai Embassy where you are located. The embassy staff will assist you in transferring your Thai Elite Visa to your new passport.
Only One Passport
If you hold passports from two different countries, you cannot transfer your Thai Elite Visa from one passport to another.
For example, if your Thai Elite membership is affixed with your United States of America passport, you cannot transfer it to your United Kingdom passport.
