Many contemplate this question: “Will Thailand Privilege actually keep their word about letting old Elite Easy Access visa holders upgrade to a 20-year Thai Elite Visa?”, especially given the announcements at the “Live with New Possibilities” seminar on August 30.
When Thailand Privilege announced the discontinuation of Thai Elite Visa memberships and introduced the new membership options, a deadline of August 15, 2023, was implemented for the 5-year Elite Easy Access members who were planning on upgrading to a 20-year membership.
Once August 15 approached, it was announced that the deadline was to be revoked. Now, current Elite Easy Access members are able to upgrade anytime as long as it’s prior to 3 months before the expiry of their current membership. Because of the abruptness of it all, Thailand Privilege have announced that they will be honoring their word and that no additional changes would impact anyone on the previous Elite Easy Access packages.
Will they keep their word? Yes. Thailand Privilege are well aware of the disruptions that its deadline and revocation have caused. As a result, they have promised that former Elite Easy Access members will still be able to proceed with upgrading their membership. There are no plans to remove the upgrade option for Elite Easy Access members.
