This is a monumental breakthrough in Thailand Privilege history. With the release of the new Thailand Privilege memberships just around the corner, this video will give you a rundown of what the new 20-year package is.
This is titled the Thailand Privilege Reserve Membership. Priced at 5 million THB, the Reserve membership is a special kind of membership for two reasons. The first is that it will allow you to stay beyond 20 years, meaning that when your 20 year visa expires you will be entitled to a 5 year visa after, letting you stay for a lot longer.
The second involves the requirements or conditions to be accepted into this particular membership scheme. The 20-year Reserve membership is unfortunately, only available to applicants via invitation. Only a limited pool of candidates will be considered, estimated to be less than 100 per year.
If you are invited to become a Reserve member however, you will be rewarded with some phenomenal array of benefits. Certain benefits include: access to the premium lane for immigration fast tracking, your own Personal Assistant, annual health checkups, an exclusive VIP hotline, and access to the Reserve Club. And these are only a fraction of the privileges you’ll be able to leverage.
As a member, you will also earn a whopping 120 privilege points per year that you can redeem for rewards and privileges of your choice. With such a high number of points to redeem, you can enjoy pretty much everything at your fingertips. Ever wanted to acquire that opportunity to test drive a supercar? Maybe you’d like to spend it on an Accor Plus hotel membership? All these are for the choosing.
When you have been granted your invitation and pre-assessment and have decided on going through with it, to apply you will simply need to fill out an application form, PDPA form, submit a photocopy of your passport and also a passport-sized photograph of yourself in colour.
The application process is relatively simple. Once the application is submitted, this segways into the background check where the applicant will have their criminal record assessed by the Thai Immigration Authorities. Once this is successful, the applicant will be given 30 days to pay their fees upon receiving the approval letter and invoice. Once the payment is made, they are then able to receive their membership ID and welcome letter within 5 working days.
Thailand Privilege have shared that the timeline for the entire application procedure will be a long quicker compared to the previous Thailand Elite Visas, which took between 1 to 3 months, with an estimated 4 to 6 weeks for the background check.
Once a membership ID and welcome letter has been issued, you can affix your new visa to your passport. This can be done either at the Thai International Airports (in Bangkok or Phuket if abroad), a Royal Thai Consulate (if abroad) or the Thai Immigration Office on Cheung Wattana Road in Bangkok (if in Thailand).
