Two of the Thailand Privilege membership packages will allow you to include family members. The first is the 10-year PLATINUM Membership, in which the main applicant pays 1.5 million THB and any additional family members can shell out 1 million THB for it, letting them save 500,000 THB. All parties will also earn 35 privilege points.
Each Thailand Privilege membership nets you a set number of points per year. GOLD members earn 20 points per year, PLATINUM members get 35, and DIAMOND members are awarded 55. If you were invited for the RESERVE membership plan, you will receive 120 points a year, the highest amount out of all the packages.
Priced at 5 million THB, the Reserve membership is a special kind of membership for two reasons. The first is that it will allow you to stay beyond 20 years, meaning that when your 20 year visa expires you will be entitled to a 5 year visa after.
You can choose either the GOLD, PLATINUM, or DIAMOND Memberships. Each membership also introduces you to the privilege points system, allowing you to be able to choose which privileges you’d like by spending points. It’s a new scheme intended to offer more flexibility to members.
The 15-year Diamond Membership offers the highest validity period. Many expats and retirees will find this option very enticing given that it allows them to stay in Thailand the longest out of all the available membership choices. This is priced at 2.5 million THB, but rewards you with three 5-year renewable, multi-entry visas and the highest number of privilege points. With 55 points a year, the amount of privileges you can redeem these points for are tremendous.
