You might have noticed that we recently posted a series of videos on the 4 different Thailand Privilege Membership packages. This video is less a summary of these, and more so a guide in case you’re uncertain of which membership to choose.
First, let’s see which memberships Thailand Privilege are kind enough to offer us, shall we?
The first is the GOLD Membership. This costs you 900,000 THB and offers a 5 year multiple-entry visa and 20 privilege points a year.
Second on our list is the PLATINUM Membership. This is priced at 1.5 Million THB and offers two 5-year multiple-entry visas and 35 privilege points per year.
Thirdly, we have the DIAMOND Membership, costing 2.5 Million THB and rewarding you with three 5-year multiple-entry visas and 55 privilege points on an annual basis.
Last, but not least, we have the RESERVE Membership. This costs 5 Million THB and offers four 5-year multiple-entry visas with 120 privilege points. There’s a catch to this in that you are only allowed to apply via invitation.
As an applicant, you can choose either the GOLD, PLATINUM, or DIAMOND Memberships. Each membership also introduces you to the privilege points system, allowing you to be able to choose which privileges you’d like by spending points. It’s a new scheme intended to offer more flexibility to members.
Which membership you’d like highly depends on your circumstances or reasons to visit Thailand in the first place. If you’re new to Thailand for example or are single, the 5-year GOLD Membership may be a better fit to your needs as it’s the most affordable and gives you enough time to test out the Land of Smiles as a potential tourist destination or second home.
If you have family, you might be interested in either the 10-year PLATINUM membership or 15-year DIAMOND membership. Whichever one you pick, you’re free to add your family members to it at. With the PLATINUM membership, additional members only need to pay 1 Million THB, and for DIAMOND, your party just needs to pay 1.5 Million THB to become members.
In addition, you will also need to meet a few qualification requirements. As an applicant, your passport validity needs to be at least or greater than 365 days and you must have the right to reside in Thailand in accordance with Thai immigration laws. Once you have submitted your application, you will have to undergo a background check. It is up to the Thai immigration authorities whether they would approve you during this process, but as long as you don’t have any overstays, bankruptcies, a volunteer visa, blacklists and your criminal record history is clean, you’ll be fine.
If you’re interested in a Thailand Privilege package, we also have 4 separate videos on each one for you to take a gander at. Each video breaks out every membership in detail and even includes information on how to apply for it or what the application process entails.
But most importantly, use Siam Legal as your General Sales and Services Agent (or GSSA for short) if you’re interested in applying. We offer a whole heap of additional privileges just for you if you decide on using us as your designated point of contact.
That’s all we have for today. Please feel free to like and subscribe for more future Thailand Privilege content coming your way.
