US Visa Fees in Thailand

US Visa Application

When you are applying for a US visa, whether it is a tourist visa, a fiancé visa, or a spouse visa, you will need to pay several fees. Depending upon the type of US visa and where the application is submitted, some applicants may also have to pay an additional issuance fee when the visa is issued.

The following visa fees apply for nonimmigrant US visa applications in Thailand. Each application, including those for minors, requires a non-refundable and non-transferable visa application fee. These fees must be paid whether a visa is issued or not.

US Embassy Thailand

K1 Visa (Fiancé Visa)

US Department of Homeland Security = $535
US Embassy = $265
I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancé(e): $720 (As of April 1, 2024. For more information about this price increase, click here)
Other Fees:
Medical Examination and Vaccinations = 10,000 – 12,000 THB
Police Clearance Fee = 100 - 2,200 THB
Thailand Legalization Fee = 400 THB per document

K2 Visa

US Embassy = $265
Other Fees:
Medical Examination and Vaccinations = 15,000 – 25,000 THB (Note: It is normal for medical examinations for children under 18 to cost more, especially if vaccines are needed)
Police Clearance Fee = 100 - 2,200 THB (Note: Children under 16 do not require a police clearance certificate)
Thailand Legalization Fee = 400 THB per document

Tourist or Business Visa (B1/B2)

US Embassy = $185

K3 Visa (Spouse Visa)

US Department of Homeland Security = $535
US Embassy = $265
Other Fees:
Medical Examination and Vaccinations = 10,000 – 12,000 THB
Police Clearance Fee = 100 - 2,200 THB
Thailand Legalization Fee = 400 THB per document

K4 Visa

US Embassy = $265
Other Fees:
Medical Examination and Vaccinations = 10,000 – 12,000 THB
Police Clearance Fee = 100 THB
Thailand Legalization Fee = 400 THB per document

CR-1 Visa (Spouse Visa)

US Department of Homeland Security = $710 for online applications, and $820 for paper
Affidavit of Support Fee = $120
Immigrant Visa Fee = $325
USCIS Green Card Fee = $235 (As of April 1, 2024. For more information about this price increase, click here)
Other Fees:
Medical Examination and Vaccinations = 10,000 – 12,000 THB
Police Clearance Fee = 100 - 2,200 THB
Thailand Legalization Fee = 400 THB per document

IR-1 Visa (Immediate Relative Visa)

US Department of Homeland Security = $710 for online applications, and $820 for paper
Affidavit of Support Fee = $120
Immigrant Visa Fee = $325
USCIS Green Card Fee = $235 (As of April 1, 2024. For more information about this price increase, click here)
Other Fees:
Medical Examination and Vaccinations = 10,000 – 12,000 THB
Police Clearance Fee = 100 - 2,200 THB
